That’s because to fill that void, we are getting Diablo 4 in a couple of years. But you need to know that Diablo is not meant to be a whole new experience for the fan base. I really don’t want to spoil anymore, but hold on to your seats for you come across many names of demons you are familiar with, during your adventures while unraveling the final enigma.Īs a new player, you may feel like the graphics are not par with many new-age games, and you are right. So you take it upon yourself to release the land from the forces of hell and solve the mysteries surrounding the Dark Wanderer. You also meet many characters along the way who believe the Prime Evil himself is back. As you start your journey and visit the mystical world, you hear the stories of a Dark Wanderer traveling east ( …always east…) and waking up nightmarish creatures and monsters along his path. In Diablo 2, you start as one of the 7 playable characters including Amazon, Assassin, Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, and Sorceress. He is defeated by the player and the story takes a pause there. Also, the Prime Evil Diablo is trying to take control of the mortal realm. These are all from the top of my head but if I really look into it the list might be neverending. For those who are new to the series, the only thing you need to know is that Diablo 1 told the story about the neverending war between angels and demons. The Witness - Challenge (not for the feint of heart if doing it legit)Ĭrash Bandicoot 4 (took the gold relic achievements from N.Sane Trilogy and made them platinum)Įvil Within - Finish the game on 悪夢(AKUMU) mode Metal Gear Solid 2 HD - Virtually Impossible (some of those VR missions as MGS1 Snake are literally "virtually inpossible")
Yeah, I'm purposefully thinking of HC achievements here lol)Īny Yakuza game involving minigames (self-explanatory if you've ever played Yakuza) Neverwinter - Pure of Heart (lots of choices here but some of the dungeons and challenges are impossible for 99.999% of people due to skill, class comp and gear involved to do them)ĭead Space 3 - Aren't you thankful? (Oh look, another Hardcore achievement that doesn't require you do the same thing for thousands of hours.
Guitar Hero 3 - The Inhuman Achievement (go watch a video of Through the Fire and Flames. Titanfall - Gen 10 (the only "prestige" achievement I can think of that's actually hard to do unlike Call of Duty where you just need to play regardless of skill or Gears of War which has ridiculous non-stop exp requirements and nothing else) You also need to beat the game in a "minute." Max Payne 3 - The Shadows Rushed Me (a one-life Hardcore achievement that's actually very challenging and requires lots of dedication but can be done in one sitting. thousand or so hours this is going to take, and some mistakes in this game are fatal, even on a perfectly geared character. What makes this challenge really hard is the human element: it's impossible to play completely perfectly for the. Most people who play long characters on hardcore like this have basically mastered the game and, in particular, the process of quickly evaluating the risk of doing something. Or, and this one's my least favorite, maybe you had to go do something on nightmare for some reason and you forgot that the FE death explosion is bugged. Maybe it's the one time out of five hundred that you accidentally click a fire shrine. Maybe you forgot to refresh BO in time and you notice a second or two before your otherwise impending doom that you've just wandered into a dangerous situation with half the health you're supposed to have. What is really stressful about trying to get 99 on hardcore - the shit that really keeps you up at night - is when you catch yourself slipping. Personally, I won't even bother with any combination of dolls and souls. Souls in particular can be made trivial by maxing out light res and getting a source of absorb (like tgod's), and if you end up with a really bad throne room I think most hardcore players would just quit. Once you are properly geared and aware of your limitations these things stop being such big issues. Click to shrink.I think this might be overselling it a tad.
